Studio Quality Samples for Steinberg's HALion VST SAMPLER BY The Streaming Samples Company There are many sample CD companies out there who promise high quality samples. But many are of mediocre quality because of the limitations of hardware based samplers and mediocre programmers. Because of Halion's "streaming" capabilities, we have developed a library of high quality samples that we think will "knock your socks off"! Why? Because we don't make a sample CD unless it's the "best" available! For example: Halion comes with a varitey of sounds when you purchase the software. (the included library is just "OK" overall) There are a few sample sets based on the Waldorf Q. If you've ever played the Q you'll agree that it's an amazing sounding synth! But the samples of Q that come with the Halion software just don't capture the vibe - not even close! However, our Waldo's Q sounds so close to the original you'll be amazed! In fact, because of superior audio engineering (and world class studio toys) you might agree that some of our Q sounds actually sound better than the original Q keyboard! That's quite a bold statement to make - but we'll guarantee your satisfaction! Our sounds are richer, smoother, phatter, punchier and more "analogue" sounding because of the studio processing used to record the original wave forms. Expert sound design is then applied to these well recorded wave forms through Halion's parameters. We also take deep advantage of Halion's "streaming" abilities to avoid unnatural loops and decays. And we "hate" that excessive "pitch stretching" sound used by other sample companies. For example, we recorded over 80 keys per piano (some multi-sampled) for our piano sample sets. That's why they're so realistic! Please click on the MP3 demos below and hear for yourself. How many sounds come with each of our CD sets? Each sample set CD comes with at least 128 Halion instrument patches (except Super Piano). ALL ARE MUSICALLY USEFUL AND RECORDED WITHOUT REVERB OR DELAY!! (finally, a company that understand that producers do not want time variant FX in the samples) So obviously, we don't claim to offer all of the sounds of the original, but each is an exciting " BEST OF" package.
